As near as I can tell, we’re somewhere around the third stage of drywall finishing. The torrential rains we have had lately are definitely not helping the curing process.
In the meantime, we managed to pick a countertop quartz. After much deliberation, we’ll be going with five slabs of Santa Margherita Trevi:
I like that it’s neither too cold nor too yellow, and that by choosing it I don’t need to keep looking at quartz slabs. The Husband likes the “movement” in the veining. He was eyeing marble, but I put a stop to that. We can barely remember to spray our counters down, let alone seal them every six months.
